Christmas is slowly creeping up on us. This year I’m trying to be particularly organised as we are going on holiday at the end of November. As a mum of three, including 3 year-old twins, I often get asked “How do you do it?”. If I’m brutally honest, somedays I really don’t know! Recently I’ve been finding this whole parenting lark hard. A couple of weeks ago I posted about my plans to start following the Slimming World plan. I’m now on week three, so thought it was time to post an update. The first week I found quite easy. Since coming back from our summer holiday at the beginning of August, I’ve really struggled to lose the weight that I put on. I seem to lose a pound, only to put it back on the week after, which is very frustrating! At the end of November, we are going on holiday for my Mum’s 70th birthday and I’m determined to lose 7lbs, so I’m back to my pre-summer holiday weight! I’ve always struggled to lose weight. At the weekend, I travelled up to Liverpool for a little reunion with the girls I used to live with at uni. I can’t quite believe that this time 15 years I was starting uni! I went to Edge Hill University, which is close to Liverpool. During my first year I lived in halls of residence and had the best time ever! Recently I’ve been suffering from post-holiday blues and have been feeling a bit low. As a result I’ve fallen off the healthy living wagon and my skin has suffered. My skin is normally pretty good. However, the past few weeks I’ve had loads of breakouts. It’s also lacked that nice glow that I tend to get when I’m eating better and being good with the exercise.
