What love about London

Are you planning on visiting London sometime soon? Maybe you have a trip booked or are planning on booking one for the distant future? Either way, London is a city you must visit and will have a fantastic time when doing so.

When you ask people about London, there aren’t many people who are going to turn around and say they didn’t enjoy it. A bit like New York, it’s flooded with things to do, from award-winning shows to quirky bars and very impressive restaurants – there are plenty of Michelin-starred ones, if this interests you. And London is fairly easy to get to when flying in.

Below, we have put together a brief guide on what you will love about London when visiting.

The foodie scene

A good place to start is the foodie scene – London is lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants in the world. No matter how fussy you are, you’ll find a restaurant for you. Plus, with so many restaurants, it means you can find somewhere to eat at every price point, whether you want an affordable meal or something expensive. If you are in the area, you should look into a Restaurant in Fitzrovia as there are some good options for you to choose from.

Plenty to do

You can’t get bored in London – it’s impossible! No matter your interests, there is something for everyone, whether that’s a romantic activity or a family activity. You could go and watch a theatre show, enjoy a walk along the Southbank, book yourself into an activity like Electric Shuffle or visit one of the many museums dotted around the city – the best thing about the museums is that they are free, which is ideal if you’re visiting with your family. There’s also plenty of London rooftop bars to drink at, parks to have a picnic in and so much more.

The shopping experience

If you are someone who loves to shop, then you aren’t going to be disappointed in London. The city is a shopper’s paradise, offering everything from high-end designer boutiques to quirky independent stores and vintage markets. The go-to area of London to start at is Oxford Street, but then there is also Covent Garden and Knightsbridge. For a unique shopping experience, try and factor some time at Portobello Road Market, where you’ll find vintage items and antiques. If you’re someone who likes bargains and designer clothes, there are a few outlets dotted around, the best one would probably be the Outlet Shopping at the O2. However, if you have time to travel, a visit to Bicester Village for their outlets would be a great shopping experience.

Our guide on what you will love about London when visiting could go on, as there are so many reasons. Once you have visited once, we are sure you will want to return very soon after.
