September – Capturing the special moments

September – Capturing the special moments

I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago, but somehow just never managed to get round to posting it.

I know it’s now mid-October (timing is going too fast!), but I’m still sharing so that I have a record to look back on.
September was a pretty quiet month for us. Simon decided to take a month off drinking alcohol and I was in training for my half marathon.
Here’s a little round up of what we got up to.
At the beginning of September it was my Dad’s birthday, so we went out for a meal to celebrate.
We’ve had a few kids parties, which they all enjoyed.
I’ve been training hard for the Robin Hood Half Marathon, which I ran on Sun 27th and smashed last year’s time by 11 mins, which I was pretty pleased about!

Oscar also took part in the mini marathon, with Simon, so he was super happy too.

My new job has been going well. I’ve been really busy, but everyone I work with is lovely and it’s going well so far.
Oscar started back at school, and although it took a couple of weeks to settle back in, he seems to be enjoying it. Henry and Heidi started back at pre school, where they now going two mornings a week and they seem happy too, which is good.

And that’s about it!
October is set to be pretty busy, so it’s probably a good job we took it easy in September!
