When Simply Be recently contacted me to review their festive party wear, I was quite intrigued.
Simply Be is a brand that I’ve heard of, but I’ve never purchased anything from their range before. I always assumed they only did clothes for the curvier lady. However, many of their clothes actually start from a size 10.
I love a bit of sparkle at Christmas, so I selected the Embellished Shoulder Top which I absolutely love. It’s fantastic value at £25.00. It’s very versatile and looks great with jeans or leggings for a slightly more informal look, or as I have done below, it looks lovely teamed with leather-look leggings and heels if you’re going ‘out out’! It’s also really soft and comfy, which is always a bonus!
I also chose the Black Sleeved Drop Top, which is a real bargain at only £15. I was really pleased with the top. The quality is brilliant and again you can team it with jeans for a trip to the pub, or dress it up with a skirt. In the pics below, I teamed it with a black faux leather a-line skirt and tucked the top in. I think it would also look lovely with a pencil skirt or midi skirt, or leather-look leggings.
Both tops will definitely see me through the festive season. I love this time of year as I love catching up with friends and socialising more. It’s also great to get glammed up and wear something new.
I was really impressed with both tops. The quality of the tops is great, they look lovely and are both really comfy to wear. The only thing to keep in mind the sizing is a little big. I’m a 10-12 and ordered a 12, but could’ve really done with a size 10 in both tops.
I’m definitely going to order more stuff from Simply Be. It’s exciting to find a brand that’s a little bit different from the usual high-street stuff. I hate going to a party and finding that I’m wearing the same outfit as another person!
