With the weather getting colder, I’ve decided that I need (ok, really want) a parka.
This may sound pretty straightforward, but as usual I know exactly what I want, which inevitably makes the search for ‘the one’ extremely difficult. Please tell me it’s not just me who does this..?
So, my wish list for the perfect parka is:
- Khaki coloured – not too light though
- A canvas type fabric – no shiny material please
- A nice big furry hood – carrying an umbrella whilst pushing a double buggy is not easy or glamorous!
- Not too short
- Not too many pockets
- Not too structured – needs to be effortlessly chic
I’ve been searching online to try and great a shortlist of contenders and so far I have these:
Parka no. 1 from Oasis – £88
Parka no. 2 from H&M – £59.99
Parka no. 3 from New Look – £44.99
Parka no. 4 from Next – £110
I think the Oasis one is my current favourite, although I think I’ll need to check them out in the flesh to get a better idea if any of them are ‘the one’. I’ll let you know how I get on.
If anyone has any suggestions of parkas, which meet my wish list, please let me know.
