Exercise

It is important that as part of your health journey you try to move as much as possible, ideally for at least 45 minutes each day. Exercise isn’t just important to stay toned and in good shape, it does wonders for your brain and other vital organs. The key to exercise is finding something you enjoy doing, this could be anything from swimming to cycling. As long as your heart rate is being raised, it will be good for you. Diet

Another key aspect of health and wellbeing is watching what you eat. If you constantly over indulge on junk food then your body and mind won’t be getting necessary nutrients it needs to thrive. Socialise

Finally, it is essential that you head out and socialise with friends as often as you can. It has been discovered that meeting up with friends and socialising can cut your risk of developing cognitive decline. It can be all too tempting to decline the invite but then you can find yourself in a bit of a rut with never wanting to leave the house.
