I’m going to be honest now, this week I haven’t weighed myself. I was quite naughty over the bank holiday weekend, and I was so excited about going to Ascot on Saturday, that I knew if the scales showed I’d put weight on it would affect how I felt in my dress.
I know it’s stupid and I really hate how a couple of numbers on the scales can bother me so much, but unfortunately they do. So, this week it’s been all about denial, and do you know what..? It’s worked for me!
I will weigh myself again at the end of this week. If I don’t it has a tendency to spiral out of control and before you know if, a couple of pounds can easily escalate to half a stone! I suppose that’s the thing about weight, you can only exist in denial for so long and then soon enough you can no longer fasten your jeans, bring you swiftly back to reality!
So, it’s back to trying to follow the Slimming World programme again. I’m also trying to run three times a week. Summer is on it’s way and I’m determined to feel good in my summer clothes.
