A day at the races

On Saturday we went to Ascot races with my parents. It was their 50th Wedding Anniversary in April, so for their gift we’d booked a day at the races. Half term adventures – Twycross Zoo

During last week’s half term, my mum and I decided to take all the kids to the zoo for the day. Twycross Zoo is about half an hour drive from us and we haven’t been for a few years, so I was really looking forward to it. Alton Towers Santa Visit

We had a great day at Alton Towers today. We’d heard great things about the Santa Sleepover and when we called to enquire, we discovered that you can also just visit for the day. As we only live an hour away it was a much better option for us. We arrived at 10am. We parked in the disabled parking area (it’s allowed) and headed to the park.
